Reasons For Drop In Mileage After Using Redflow Additive.
There are majorly 3 factors involved if your vehicle is facing drop in mileage, no mileage gains or just 1-2kmpl gains after Redflow

1. Engine Control Unit (ECU)
Other fuel additives like injector cleaners which are made of 1-2 basic cleaning compounds go mostly undetected by the car's onboard computer ie, ECU.
While Redflow's 5yr developed premium formula has a lot of ingredients which is clearly detected by the ECU that a relatively new fuel is coming in.
If you vehicle has a self learning ECU which has multiple algorithms then it will easily adapt to the changes in air fuel ratio and mileage + performance automatically increases.
While some budget offerings from brands install a cost effective standard non learning ECU made for only normal fuel and cannot calibrate new air fuel ratio.
Hence, no change or even drop in mileage.
Not the car (OR) Redflow's fault but the cars ability is just restricted by a Non learning ECU.
Such cars even face the same issue if premium petrol or premium diesel is added and ECU cannot calibrate & users see a drop in mileage after using premium fuel alone.
2. Mileage Meter Reset
Many car brands including Indian and Korean tend to lock on a certain mileage number in the meter after adapting to your driving style and conditions..
This number doesn't change or very slightly changes at highway speeds, after using Redflow or even premium fuel.
Reset your mileage meter after RedFlow so that the car's ECU can calibrate new air fuel ratio accordingly from new fuel coming in and set mileage readings accordingly.
Even after mileage reset and using Redflow for 2 tanks the mileage doesn't increase or decreases then it is the issue of non learning ECU as mentioned in point number 1.
3. Load On The Engine
Basic factors like dirty air filter or MAF sensor can cause poor performance, mileage & adds load on the engine in general & can be easily cleaned at relatively low cost & effort which will have a noticeable effect on performance.
Secondly, while many owners give their cars for service at a local garage to save costs.. A relatively inexpensive mineral oil is generally used as an engine oil which is thick and also makes deposits in the engine after a certain km usage causing more load
Switch to a better fully synthetic engine oil of OEM grade which not only makes your engine smooth but also has self cleaning properties & cleans the engine from inside.
Lastly, A car full of passengers/luggage, stop-go city traffic & speeds above 80-100kmpl will naturally have an impact on mileage which also depends from car-car & engine-engine.
Apart from that every 20-25,000 kms fuel filter change and every 40,000 kms transmission service is advisable for healthy and smooth engine life.
Conclusion
If the above mentioned points are checked, Redflow will be a very substantial success for you in terms of fuel saved and performance gained (OR) a complete miss depending if the ECU calibrates accordingly which is a major factor.
Examples of Non Learning ECU's
Some budget BS6 offerings from brands like TATA, Mahindra, Ford & Hyundai
Self Learning ECU's
Honda, Toyota, VW, Skoda, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Maruti Suzuki & All premium offerings from TATA, Mahindra, Hyundai Group
Note : Budget offerings from brands which are BS6 compliant offer a non learning ECU and its values are set for normal fuel to curb emissions also.
While BS2 BS3 BS4 vehicles benefit immensely from RedFlow as no such ECU issues are seen in them & also as new BS6 fuel hampers their performance both in petrol and diesel varients.
While BS6 Engines which have self learning ECU's also have some exponential gains in both performance and mileage from RedFlow.
Minimum 20% mileage gains, smooth and silent engine feel, better pickup, low NVH which all translates to
INCREASED & HEALTHY ENGINE LIFE LEADING TO LOWER MAINTAINENCE COSTS.
FAQS
Can this be used in older cars which are E10 compliant?
Yes perfectly compatible, Either you can do 3ML per litre (OR) Half bottle in 40-50L Petrol. So 1 bottle will last you for about 2 full tanks.
